What will be used to build computers in the future? What are frustrated magnets? And what does a doughnut have to do with a whirlwind? Answers are given by researchers of the Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat. Under extreme conditions in high-performance labs in Dresden and Würzburg, the cluster examines the properties of new materials for superfast quantum chips that hardly consume energy and have gigantic storage capacities. For the exhibition in the SHOWCASES, scientists have developed seven interactive exhibits that decipher the mysterious phenomena of the quantum world.
